Rebecca tailors a speech assessment to suit your child. A thorough speech assessment generally takes between 1-2 hours. Rebecca will look at production of single speech sounds, sounds-in-words and how easily your child can be understood in general conversation. A Speech and Literacy Hub speech assessment also includes (when necessary) an assessment of early literacy skills and executive functions which have been shown to be related to speech development. Rebecca then uses her knowledge and vast experience to provide you with clear and concise results, a differential diagnosis and an individualised treatment plan.
