Rebecca tailors a comprehensive literacy assessment to suit your child. A thorough literacy assessment generally takes between 1-3 hours. Rebecca will assess your child’s phonological awareness skills and understanding of the alphabet code. A Speech and Literacy Hub literacy assessment also includes various state-of-the art single word and text-level reading and spelling assessments, immediate memory assessment and a preliminary fine motor skills assessment – all areas integral to literacy development. Rebecca then uses her knowledge and vast experience to provide you with clear and concise results, a differential diagnosis and an individualised treatment plan.
